Pay any bill on Bharat Connect

Fetch and pay electricity, gas, water, broadband, insurance, loan EMI and every other biller category live on Bharat Connect — with instant biller confirmation.

What is Bharat Connect?

One network for every recurring bill

Bharat Connect — formerly the Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS) — is the RBI-mandated, interoperable bill payment network operated by NPCI Bharat BillPay Limited. A bill paid through it is posted directly to the biller and confirmed with a unique transaction reference.

That reference is what makes Bharat Connect different from paying through an unknown agent: the customer can check the payment, and any dispute is handled through a standard complaint process.

Dramepe processes bill payments through an RBI-authorised Bharat Bill Payment Operating Unit. Dramepe is a technology platform, not a bank.

How a payment flows

Four steps, seconds apart

Choose the biller

Pick the category and biller. The form asks for exactly the inputs that biller needs — consumer number, policy number, vehicle number and so on.

Fetch the bill

Where the biller supports it, the outstanding amount, customer name and due date are fetched so the customer can confirm them.

Pay

The amount is debited from your wallet and sent through the BBPOU to the biller over Bharat Connect.

Get the receipt

The biller’s confirmation returns with a Bharat Connect reference. Print it or share it with the customer.

Features

Made for busy counters and busy apps

  • Cash, UPI and wallet payment modes recorded correctly for each transaction.
  • Status and reconciliation — pending payments update automatically; failures reverse to your wallet.

  • Complaint registration and status tracking from the portal, app or API.

If something goes wrong, there’s a process

Bharat Connect gives every customer a standard way to dispute a payment.

Raise it

Get a complaint ID

We register the complaint on Bharat Connect and give you its complaint ID for follow-up.

Track to closure

The complaint is resolved within the timelines set by the network, and you are told the outcome.
